When it comes to relationships, a diamond ring is the golden ticket to a long and happy life. In celebration of one of our own finally getting proposed to, we've chosen to share our favorite golden cakes:

Spotted: A Darling Pink Ruffle Cake!

Here's a closeup of our favorite Valentine's cake!

Buttercream ruffles create a chic look on any girly cakes. Not only is it perfect for Valentine's Day, it would be an adorable addition to a baby or bridal shower's dessert table! This would surely be lovely also on a layer of a tiered wedding cake.

Check out DarlingCake.com for all kinds of great cakes!!

Adorable 1st birthday cake

Birthday cakes are so great because they can take on any style: feminine and girly, celebratory with stars and streamers, whimsical and elegant, funky....

1st birthday cakes are exceptionally fun because babies are too young to have a theme that they insist on (like trains or princesses), so decorating can go in any direction. Team LP believes in the power of pink buttercream, glitter, and buttercream flowers/polka dots... Which is why this cake is right up our alley!
BUT what REALLY makes 1st birthdays so special is watching the birthday baby stuff their face in the frosting and indulge :)

Hello Kitty cake for Piper!

We were very excited to make this "Hello Kitty" custom cake for the 5th birthday of our friend Jill's baby, Piper. Made with red velvet cake and cream cheese frosting, this cake was modeled after Piper's favorite Hello Kitty jewelry box! Happy Birthday, Piper!!
